Discussion:
1. There are two other sudivisions, Ice Lakes Lodge (across from the lodge) and Serene Estates (across from Lot #1)
but they are not included since they are both relatively new in terms of laterals. Their mains would be the same age as Serene Lakes 1.
2. The infrastructure is aging. Sewer mains may not need replacing because there is a technique used in which the
mains are lined with a thin layer of plastic and robotic drills open the lateral openings. Those areas where the pipe
has dropped due to earth movement or where greater damage is encountered would need replacing. An inventory
of the mains via "TVing" (cameras snaked through the system) can be done to ascertain specific conditions.
3. The water delivery system, both mains and pipes leading to water meters, lies closer to the surface and the only
solution for aging infrastructure is replacement, which requires trenching.
